What drives the price
The Hamburg City Pass is available for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 consecutive days. The package is the same in every version; you only decide how long you use it and who you book it for. Three levers move the amount:
- The validity period. Every additional tier costs more but lowers the price per day. The jump from one to two days is the biggest in the whole range; from three days on the curve flattens.
- Age. There are three tiers: adults from 18, youths aged 15 to 17 and children aged 3 to 14. Children under 3 usually do not need a pass, because most venues admit them for free.
- The public transport option. The HVV ticket for zone AB is not part of the base price but is added as a surcharge at checkout. It is valid for the booked pass duration and also covers the S1 to the airport.

Which duration pays off
What matters is not the total but the price per day, and that falls with every tier. As a rule of thumb: if you visit two attractions from the pass in one day, say the grand harbour cruise and the Michel, the daily price is usually covered; from the third attraction on you save. For a classic weekend the 2 or 3 day version is the norm. The 5 to 7 day versions make sense if you also want to fit in the Alster cruise, the guided city walk, the Speicherstadt Museum and the museum ship Rickmer Rickmers alongside the big venues.
For families the sum works out better, because children and youths have their own, lower price tier. Which venues and tours are included is listed on the Attractions page.
What every version includes
Whatever the duration, every pass contains the same package: free entry to more than 20 attractions and tours, among them the grand harbour cruise, the Alster cruise, the hop-on hop-off bus and a guided city walk of your choice, plus up to 50 percent off at 15 further partners. The pass arrives as a PDF by email and activates on your first visit to an attraction; from then on the booked number of days runs consecutively.
Cancellation
If you cancel up to 24 hours before your chosen start date, no cancellation fees apply. After that no refund is possible, and the pass must not have been used. Questions about your booking are handled by Turbopass support; the details are on the Contact page.
